Fast Forward – One Year Later …

Pejam celik, pejam celik, its been one year since I last scribbled anything here. Funny thing, time is. We may feel like we’re living in the moment, but without realizing every moment that just went a second ago has already left us for good.

Btw, a year..huh? Many things has happen during. Braved through some worries, accepted some unaccepted, committed for the greatest…

When I look back…Feels like I went through alot…And nothing at all.

Windows Live Writer

Windows recently released their new product packaged under their Windows Live emblem. This post is written and published using Windows Live writer that I just downloaded. Seems simple enough to set it up to my blog server. Just input in your blog URL, the username and password and it will basically grab the site’s CSS and layout to the software. After that, it’s pretty much straight forward. Just write, and add your images or videos and publish.

The images and videos will be uploaded to Windows Lives server so you don’t need to upload them one by one, and there are also some nice picture effects that you can use without needing to photoshop them. Works well for the extra busy people I’d say.

Dented Car

Got to office quite early today. Was at the front gate by 7.50am. Got to my desk at about 8.00, and at about 8.30 received a unexpected call from my sister. Seems that someone banged her car from the back and caused a major dent. That’s the 2nd time I received the exact same call from her in about a year, the last time was somewhere near puasa too. She got hit and run at PLUS highway near Sg. Buloh R&R by a Kancil. This time it was at Mines and was by a ATOS. Seems like small cars loves to kiss. Luckily, it’s not a hit and run case this time around. The guy actually waited at the side to give my sis his business-card to call him for claims(unlike the guy who chickened out and ran after hitting Laj’s Optra in Federal Highway, wait till I see you next time you SOAB, oh yeah, I remember how you look like!). Btw, these are some of the photo’s. (Click to enlarge..)

The car looks preety awful at 2 feets, but not as bad from far. It’ll be at the workshop till tomorrow evening. Hopefully it’ll be good as new. Thanks Kamy for borrowing your car

A day out on a weekend

It is kinda weird actually. there I was, thinking that we are at the edge of another economic recession, with the price of fuel and groceries going up way too high in a blink of an eye, the opposition party feasting on giving the current government a bad name, blaming them for the cause of all the price hike, and people like you and me complaining about an usual RM3.00 nasi campur at the mamak is already RM4.50 per plate.

When prices of fuel and consumable items goes up, what can we expect from Malaysians? Riots and protests similar to everywhere around the world such as India, Tunisia and Haiti? Well, not necessarily. I was in SOGO last weekend and this is the sight that greeted me.

Shopping spree?

So much for riots… Sometimes you just have to love being a Malaysian…

Another Wedding Ceremony

It seems like everyone around me are on a wedding spree this year. Received loads of invitations so far, but only managed to attend a few. Yesterday was Munira’s turn. She sent me my invitation for her wedding direct from Korea, so I guess thats a message from her that i shouldnt miss it. Anyway, it was a beautiful wedding and everyone and everything looked green, literally :p . And it was sort of reunion too as Munira invited many of our primary and secondary schoolmates. Its kinda fun to see old faces that brings up memories I guess. People that you remember as kids wearing the same uniform for years are now profesionals, engineers and executives. And they all look good as hell too . Anyway here are some of the photos.

Ouh crap…Not again…

PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA – Malaysia said Wednesday it will raise gasoline prices by 40 percent to reduce the government’s massive subsidy bill, a move that is expected lift the inflation rate to 5 percent.

Im too tired to talk about this now. I should not too, to save myself from getting a free pass to ISA. Hail Pak Lah. Asswipe.

And yeah, our beloved newly elected Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Shahrir Abdul Samad also hinted that the price will keep on rising all throughout the months till August until the price pars with global market price. What an excellent motivation.

Anyway, I’ll update again tomorrow when I’m abit sane-r.
